Board of Directors Nominations & AGM Motions

This year, positions will be up for election on the Board of Directors of the BC Psychological Association (BCPA).

All the directors of BCPA are volunteers. The Board of Directors consists of ten BCPA members who are elected by the members of the Association. Directors are responsible for the Association both financially and legally. Their role is one of governance; to steer the Association and work towards the achievement of our goals and purposes, as stated in the Constitution. They are responsible for attending monthly meetings, as well as for serving as Board liaisons by sitting on one or more committees.

Only current members of BCPA can submit nominations and resolutions, and these submissions must be received by no later than September 29, 2014 to be considered valid. Your nomination submissions are considered to be personal information, and they are protected by the BC Personal Information Act, by the Personal Information Protection Act, and by our privacy policy. This means that the information listed on nomination forms as well as nomination statements will not be released to any other member until after the nomination deadline. You can choose to disclose your nomination, or your intention to be nominated, if you so wish.
