Board Recruitment

BCPA is seeking passionate and committed leaders to join our Board of Directors. As the voice of psychology in British Columbia, we work to advocate for the profession and support psychologists in their work across the province.

We welcome applications from psychologists across all practice areas, career stages, and regions. In particular, we are seeking board members from rural and/or remote communities, and individuals with Indigenous ancestry, whose perspectives are vital in shaping equitable and inclusive mental health care for all British Columbians.

Indigenous Representation

Having at least one board member with Indigenous ancestry ensures the voices, knowledge, and lived experiences of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples are reflected in BCPA’s leadership.

Rural and Remote Representation

Board members who live and work in rural and remote communities bring vital perspectives on access and equity in psychological care.
