Dr. Tina Leist has thirty years of experience in private practice, primarily as a generalist clinician. Her career has included roles with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, psychiatric services in Nebraska, university teaching in Colorado, and providing psychological services for major Employee and Family Assistance Programs, with ongoing EFAP consulting. Her work integrates neuropsychology, mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal insight, and polyvagal-informed approaches to support meaningful growth and self-development.

Dr. Leist has served on the Board of Directors of BCPA since 2021 and currently chairs the Membership Services Committee. In this role, she has led initiatives to strengthen member engagement, supported the launch of a growing online resource library, contributed to continuing education development, and participated in advocacy related to the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA).
