MHSU Counselling & Treatment Clinician | Integrated Child and Youth
Location: Lillooet, BC (travel required within Lillooet, Ashcroft, and Lytton)
Wage: $44.85 - $56.20/hour
Interior Health has a permanent full-time opportunity for a Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) Counselling & Treatment Clinician to join the Integrated Child & Youth team based at the Lillooet Health Centre.
As part of a collaborative, community-based team, you will provide assessment, treatment, service coordination, and clinical support for children, youth, and families experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. You will work with complex cases using evidence-based approaches, providing individual, group, and family interventions while supporting coordinated care across community services.
The ideal candidate has experience working directly with youth in community mental health and substance use settings and is skilled in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and group facilitation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in an Allied Health, Behavioural, or Social Science field
- Two years of recent related MHSU experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence
